Tour Plan
Day 1: Marrakech Airport To Marrakech
We will pick you up and transport you to your hotel according to your arrival time. We will start the tour by exploring the Red City, Marrakech, with a local guide who will show you the important Moroccan monuments such as Majorelle Garden, Koutoubia Tower, Bahia Palace and many others. After a lunch break, you will visit the square which is a large open stage filled with local storytellers and snake charmers. A place you will never get bored of, no matter how many times you go there. You will have free time to explore the souks at your leisure before retiring to the hotel for dinner and a good night’s sleep.
Day 2: Marrakech – Casablanca
Departure for the most cosmopolitan of all the imperial cities of Morocco, Casablanca. A city that merges the ancient aesthetic, observable in the residential buildings of the 1930s, the Anfa and the Hassan II Grand Mosque, with the modern architecture of: the Place des Nations Nations, the Boulevard Mohamed V. Ultimately , you will retire to a hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fez
On the third day, we will head to the administrative capital of Morocco, Rabat. We will enjoy visiting the Hassan Tower, the fabulous Mohamed V mausoleum and the Oudaya Kasbah with its magnificent gardens. Next, we will head to Meknes, the Ismaili capital, to explore the Bab Mansour Gate, the imposing ramparts, the Jewish quarter and the royal stables. Then we will cross the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Volubilis and the town of Moulay Driss to reach Fez. Dinner with overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Guided city tour of Fez
Was founded in 808 AD to be the first political, cultural and religious capital of the country. It is the seat of Africa’s first university dating from the 9th century and is known for its walled medina of Fez El Bali, with its bustling souks and old-world atmosphere. You will tour the old medina on foot to visit the religious monuments, then meet the artisans where craftsmen make works of art from metal sheets.
Day 5: Fez – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga Dunes
We will leave towards Merzouga passing through the magnificent Ziz valley, Errachidia and we will stop in Midelt for lunch on the way. Upon arrival, you will enjoy the hotel swimming pool before beginning our tour of the imperial cities and desert of Morocco with a sunset camel ride in the dunes of Erg Chebbi. After reaching the desert nomad camp, you will spend a superb night full of magic around the campfire with tasty dishes. Dinner and night in a tent in the middle of the dunes of Merzouga.
Day 6: Merzouga Dunes – Toudra Gorges – Tinghir – Dadès Gorges.
In the desert, you will wake up to see the best sunrise you have ever seen in your life. You will have breakfast at the camp and then return by camel. Then we will continue to Erfoud and Tinejdad for lunch, then we will head to the Tineghir and Todra gorges where you can hike in its magnificent canyons. You will have more time to have fun with your lovers and take photos for memories. Finally, we will head to Boumalne du Dadès for a panoramic view of the Dadès valley. A good night’s sleep at the hotel.
Day 7: Dadès Gorges – Valley of Roses – Ouarzazate -Ait Benhaddou- Marrakech
After breakfast, we will head towards Ouarzazate crossing the Skoura palm tree then continue towards Kasbah Taourirt, the most important historical building in Ouarzazate. After visiting the film studios, we will head to the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will have lunch near the monuments to later head towards Marrakech via the High Atlas mountains via the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m above sea level). Rest at the hotel.
Day 8: Marrakech Airport Transfer
On the last day of your Moroccan desert trips from Marrakech, you will be transported to the airport according to your flight schedule.
